The high-energy Edwards provided a strong presence in the middle for Fort Bend Austin, being one of the team’s most active and productive players. She displayed a solid offensive game, hitting the ball with a lot of power and being capable of swinging in different directions – she was very good at hitting the slide set and also when swinging from the right. Edwards was very efficient with her blocking too, displaying good mobility at the net and making last-second moves with her arms to get stops.
