About London
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a libero, I play with precision, energy, and focus. My game is built on quick reflexes, strategic decision-making, and strong communication with my teammates. I thrive in high-pressure situations, staying calm and dependable to ensure my team can count on me in defense and serve-receive.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m determined, hardworking, and goal-oriented. I approach challenges with a growth mindset, whether on the court, in school, or in life. As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility and leadership, and I’m always eager to learn. I’m inspired by my parents’ success as real estate investors and plan to follow in their footsteps as an entrepreneur.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m a straight-A student and a member of my school’s debate team, where I’ve honed my skills in critical thinking, communication, and persuasion. At home, I take pride in being a role model for my younger siblings, helping with my baby brother and 5-year-old sister while balancing my own responsibilities and chores.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Volleyball has taught me leadership and teamwork, especially as a libero, where clear communication and support are vital for success. Off the court, I’ve developed discipline and time management, balancing academics, athletics, and family responsibilities. My entrepreneurial mindset pushes me to think strategically, stay organized, and work toward long-term goals.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of my biggest challenges was during my 12U season when my team made it to nationals, but I didn’t play a single minute. Sitting on the bench during such a big moment was tough, but it became a turning point for me. When I got home, I decided I never wanted to ride the bench again. That determination drove me to work relentlessly over the past two years, earning my starting libero position and
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that values both athletics and academics, where I can play competitive volleyball and continue to grow as a player. I want a school that supports entrepreneurial studies and offers resources to help me pursue my dream of becoming a real estate investor. I’m also looking for a program with a strong sense of community and a team that feels like family.
