About Lorelei

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a player with a never-quit attitude. Whether I'm in the libero or defensive specialist role, I like to bring energy, hustle, and grit every time I step on the court. I play hard for both club team and high school, always pushing myself, supporting my teammates, and chasing every ball like it matters. Determined, focused, and passionate about the game — I like to make a difference when I can.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a hard worker and up beat. I keep a positive attitude for my teammates and myself no matter if we are winning or losing. I'm always locked in and ready to play. I like to have fun and support everyone.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in FCA, Young-Life, Member of my Youth Group at Church, and Student Council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve grown a lot as a leader and teammate through volleyball. I’ve learned how to lift people up, communicate on the court, and stay calm under pressure. Playing both club and high school ball has taught me how to work with all kinds of personalities and trust my teammates. I’ve also gotten better at managing my time, bouncing back from tough moments, and staying focused when things get challengin

I have not faced significant challenges at this time.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m hoping to go to a college where I can keep playing volleyball-somewhere with a program that fits my level and where I can contribute as a libero/DS, whether that’s at a Division I, II, or even Division III school. I want to find a place with a team bond that feels right for me and coaches who will help me keep getting better. I’m also looking for good academics in the majors I’m interested in.
