About Lovie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as versatile, a strong, natural leader, someone who is passionate on and off the court. I enjoy how my athleticism allows me to be a utility player to support my team’s success. l have quick hands/reflexes, high court IQ, and precision with leads as libero demonstrating grit in the back row and can show up in big moments as a hitter/blocker if needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a fierce competitor who thrives in high-pressure moments and brings fire and passion to everything I do on the court. I have always had a deep drive to compete and improve, pushing myself to be better every day. Whether it’s watching film, studying the game, or refining my skills in practice, I am constantly looking for ways to elevate my performance. My presence on the court is undeniable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a photographer for yearbook at my school and work part time in retail. I coached at summer volleyball skills camps for young kids.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through athletics, work, and volunteer coaching, I have developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. Playing competitive volleyball has taught me how to communicate effectively, support teammates, and step into leadership roles on and off the court. Working part-time in retail has strengthened my ability to collaborate in fast-paced environments and stay dependable.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Growing up without my father, who passed away before I was born, shaped my strength, independence, and drive to succeed. These experiences built resilience and an unwavering drive I carry on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers a tight-knit feel where I can both grow as a person and develop as an athlete. I want to compete in an environment that values teamwork, passion, and drive, while being surrounded by strong women who share the same love for competition. Academically, I’m especially drawn to programs in forensic science, where I can pursue my career goals.

Eastep can swing from both pins, and she did during the club season for RVC; regardless, her defense is outstanding, and she made plays matter, irrespective of the position she was playing. The Lewis and Clark 2026 can run down tips and shots, and is athletic when she has to go to the floor and swipe up a ball with one hand. Eastep has a bit more length than some liberos, which helps when she is patrolling the back row.

Eastep (Harris) is a class of 2026 libero from Lewis and Clark in Spokane who has come on strongly this season. The sophomore has great size at 5’9″ and plays the ball easily with her hands, and has very nice location when she steps in to set the second ball. Her Club South 16 Carolina team has been in the mix and competitive all season, Eastep keeps the energy high and plays with grit in the back row.
