Please welcome Miss Schwabauer to the prestigious State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 88^th best overall prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays for John Paul II High School and also for the Excel volleyball club.  Lucy is a silky smooth five foot eight setter who can really dish the rock at a high level.  After watching her all club season, her location stands out to me a lot.  It doesn’t matter where she is on the court as she tracks the pass down, because she has an uncanny ability to locate the ball to exactly where her hitter needs it toward the net.  This young lady is not afraid to play front row and is ready to battle anyone who comes her way.  Her posture is perfect during each set no matter the location and that is due to some good hard work at her craft.  Defensively she can really help out a team and pick up a lot of balls that come her way.  After tons of consistency throughout the years, we thought it was time to reward her with placement on this list.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our State Rankings. 

The five foot nine stud from John Paul II high school has been on a mission dishing the rock so far this year.  Her assist tally currently sits at 497 and she has more than doubled her assist per set stats this season.  There is no doubt who the leader on the court is for her squad as she already has more ball handling attempts than her last two seasons on varsity.  Experience is everything in this game and Lucy is proving that she is someone who should be noticed.  We have her on our official Watch List already and she is making a strong case for us to put her on the State Ranking List soon.  Stay tuned to see if she makes it.  Regardless, we will be covering her journey very closely and you should also. 

The TAV all-around setter showcases her versatility by impacting the game in every skill—setting, blocking, attacking, and defending. Her clean, consistent hands make her setting effortless to watch, delivering hittable balls with great location and tempo. What makes her unique is her ability to also rise up and attack, showing she understands offensive rhythm not just as a setter but as a hitter as well. She is a blocking presence at the net, adds value in the back row with her defensive reads, and proves she can contribute in every rotation. Her ability to stay on the floor as a true six-rotation threat makes her one of the most complete setters in her class, and a player opponents always have to account for.
