How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as aggressive, consistent, and strategic. I use these three focus points to have impact on the court both defensively and offensively.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On the court, my mentality is all or nothing. I am very competitive while also being a positive force on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received district nominated academic awards for student excellence, teacher nominated awards for both academics and attitude, and sports awards across various teams for leadership and attitude.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I think one of my strongest skills I have developed over the years is the ability to be coachable. I consistently take the advice of both coaches and teammates. I use it to hold myself accountable on and off the court to better myself everyday.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During the beginning of last season, I broke my finger. As a middle blocker, this put me in a position where I was unable to perform. Overcoming this challenge and the pain it caused made me truly realize how much I love the sport, and how important it is to persevere.

What type of college are you looking for?

When discussing college, I like to keep my options broad. I am looking for a good fit academically and athletically. My focus is finding the college that is the right match for me, and that I can have an enjoyable experience at.
