How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Play to win, tough, fearless, all while having fun

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Practice hard, so come game day everything comes easy.

Not really, love volleyball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

This summer i'm going to teach/coach at youth volleyball events at VVA facilities

What type of college are you looking for?

Hopefully someone out there likes the way i play and wants to take a chance me. I think i could be a good fit for a smaller D1 school. But, if I could choose a school I would like to play for Oregon State, or Texas....

Please officially welcome Lyla to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 56th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays for Clovis High School and also for the Valley Volleyball Academy program.  Miss Rose has been utterly amazing this year for her squad.  She has already tallied 434 kills on a very impressive .241 hitting percentage on the pins.  Being only a sophomore on varsity, she also has 384 service receptions, 23 blocks, 32 aces and 231 digs.  If this is any sign of her future, I think her coach has a pretty good one for the next few years.  This young lady is a true artist when it comes to killing the ball.  She takes a very picturesque approach and can score the ball in a variety of ways.  I love how she takes a very deep approach and creates a lot of momentum to jump.  Her athleticism is apparent in every aspect of the game and it is so much fun to watch.  We are so proud to have her listed and will be watching her closely to see if she can continue to rise in the rankings.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
