Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as passionately aggressive, attentive, and team-focused. I bring strong, dominant energy to the court while using my court IQ to identify and exploit opponents' weaknesses. I’m always encouraging my teammates and actively communicating with my coach for feedback and adjustments to stay a step ahead in the game.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’d describe my personality as goofy, funny, and positive. I love to laugh and keep the energy light, except when it’s game time — then I lock in. I’m the type of person who makes the best out of tough situations and lifts the vibe when things feel off. Basically, I’m the lemonade when life hands out lemons.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I haven’t received any official awards, but I feel like I earned a life award this season. I’ve been helping coach our Actyvators (kinder–5th grade), helping them learn the game and watching them fall in love with it. It reminded me how far I’ve come, how important it is to give back, and that representation matters more than people realize.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Volleyball has helped me grow in leadership, teamwork, and communication. I’ve learned to hype my teammates, lead by example, and stay calm under pressure. Coaching the Actyvators taught me patience and the value of giving back. On the court, I’ve learned to advocate for myself, push through adversity, and take critique as love...then make the adjustments and keep moving forward.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
During my first volleyball season, my family faced tough challenges—my grandpa was very sick, and my mom survived a serious accident. Through it all, she kept us going and taught me that challenges are temporary. I’ve learned to stay coachable, try new roles, ask questions even when nervous, and rely on my teammates. These experiences have made me stronger on and off the court.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college with a well-curated natural sciences department to support my goal of becoming an anesthesiologist, alongside a competitive volleyball program and a supportive team culture that encourages growth, resilience, and academic excellence both on and off the court.
