About Macey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a lot of energy and focus and I'm extremely competitive. Winning is important but it's not everything. I love when I'm able to energize my team with positivity and competitive fire. I have earned the following awards: 2025 GA 4A Region MVP 2025 SRVA HP All-Star 15U 2024-25 GA All-State 4A 2024-25 1st Team All-Region 2024 AAU Nationals All-Tournament 2024-25 AVCA Phenom/JVA Watchlist

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a fun-loving, hard-working, driven student-athlete. I have the most fun when I'm pushing myself and others to be our best and I also really enjoy helping others to feel included and successful. I try to be the one who's working hardest during practice, then laughing hardest once we're done.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in High Jump and Pole Vault for our Varsity Track Team. I am also a member of STAND Club (Mental Health Awareness) and FCA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned the importance of being a leader through example as well as through service. Being the best means working the hardest, paying attention to the needs of my teammates, and doing whatever my team needs me to do even if it may not be the best for me individually. Lately I have learned how much I enjoy including others who find it hard to be involved, both on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I really want to play competitive volleyball at a school that will challenge me academically and athletically. I am open to any and all locations, but it would be nice to stay close to my home state of Georgia.
