Cepeda will be with the Roots 17-1 Green team that will compete in the 17 Open division. A lefty, she’s a very technical player, who can double up as a setter and a right side hitter for them. Cepeda uses her length extremely well on offense, making contact with the ball at a high point and finding great angles with her swings. She’s at her best when hitting a quick, shortened set on the right, in which she can find gaps in the opposing block more easily. Cepeda can be very deceiving with her tips as she’s capable of keeping her hitting motion consistent in every situation.
