Phillips is the setter of the Johnson High School program and of the Austin Juniors club team. Her release is extremely smooth and she’s excellent at pushing the ball to the pin for her hitters to score. Phillips is very good when dealing with passes off the net and remains precise when she sets against the flow of play. The setter is extremely agile and efficient when playing defense too and generates several transition opportunities for her team.
