Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a driven and disciplined middle blocker known for relentless work ethic, coach-ability, and leadership on and off the court.
Explosive at the net with quick transitions, strong blocking instincts, and a fast arm swing. I’m striving to improve and I bring high energy to every practice and game.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’d say I’m a humble leader. I’m super competitive and always want to win, but I also know the importance of encouraging my teammates and keeping things positive. I take my role seriously, but I also try to bring energy and fun to the court so everyone stays motivated and connected. I believe in leading by example and growing from every experience.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes, I’m an Honor Student and have received my school’s Academic Excellence Award multiple times. I’ve also been recognized with leadership awards for my involvement in student activities, and I was a finalist in a regional art competition. I take pride in staying well-rounded and committed both on and off the court.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Volleyball has helped me grow as a leader. I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, support others, and stay focused under pressure. I’ve also taken on leadership roles at school and in my community, where I’ve been part of service projects that taught me the value of giving back and working toward a common goal. These experiences have made me more confident, disciplined, and team-focused.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Balancing academics, volleyball, and personal responsibilities during a busy season was a big challenge. It taught me time management, mental toughness, and how to stay focused under pressure. That experience made me more resilient and confident.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college with strong academics, a supportive and competitive volleyball program, and a positive team culture. I want to be part of a program where I can grow as both an athlete and a student, with coaches and teammates who push each other to be their best. I’d also love a school that feels like a community and offers opportunities to get involved beyond athletics.
