A setter with great hands, she runs the team’s offense in a very smooth way, keeping her hitters involved and in a rhythm. One of Garza’s main strengths at setter is her mobility, which allows her to easily track passes off the net and get to the ball with plenty of time to get her body in the best possible position to make contact with the ball. She’s also a solid defensive player, who has great ball control to get digs and tremendous effort to keep the ball off the floor.

Garza was with the MoCo Mavs 17 Red team that completed their schedule with a win and four losses. Despite her team’s struggles, she did a very good job in terms of remaining consistent and provided them with some stability in the setter position. Garza was very mobile on the court and always accurate with her sets, which allowed her to thrive even when working with out-of-system passes. She also displayed good effort and ball control when playing defense and was efficient with her setter dumps.
