Perez stood out in the MPV 15N-Maverick team that got fourth this weekend with a campaign of six wins and two losses. A left-footed pin hitter, she was excellent on both sides of the ball and made the most of her technical skills and superior volleyball IQ. Playing against taller blockers, Perez was impeccable with her shot selection, consistently finding ways to hit around them and send the ball into an open spot – she also scored at a very high rate in out-of-system plays and played on the right in one rotation. The outside hitter covered a lot of ground in serve-receive and was very active on the backcourt, producing a high number of digs, many of which were impressive ones.
