Please officially welcome Miss White to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 135th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Jack C. Hays High School and will play for the Austin Performance volleyball club this year after spending the last few years at Austin Skyline. MaKayla is someone who was introduced to us a few years ago and we watched her progress very quickly to an open level player due to her awesome coaching. She was a sponge and soaked up a lot of information very rapidly compared to a lot of players. This speaks volumes to her being coachable. That is extremely important to note because of the canvas that a college program would have to work with. The natural athleticism, work ethic, and desire to improve that she possesses would make any college coach extremely happy to have in a player. Her lateral quickness while patrolling the net has to be discussed when talking about attributes to her game. But the most impressive aspect about her is her bounce off of the floor. She is an explosive athlete who can do some damage above the net both offensively and defensively. Due to her hard work in her craft over the last few years, she has truly earned her spot on this of fantastic Texas players.
