Makenna Eckelkamp made the trip from Washington, Missouri to Indianapolis and made it worth the drive. The St. Francis Borgia outside hitter competing with FC United 16 Black earned a Top Performer award in the second session of the USAV Girls Junior National Championship Showcase by producing consistently in both the skill drills and the team scrimmage competition. At 5’8″ in the 2028 class, she has room to grow physically and even more room to grow as a prospect. Her approach timing and competitive engagement were standout qualities throughout the day, and the court coaches who evaluated her noted how she attacked with purpose and stayed involved on the defensive side of the ball without being asked. She brought energy, she competed with class, and she made the players around her feel it. The court coaches agreed that she deserved this honor.  Please help me congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase.
