Miller first stood out to me during an early-season tournament at Iowa City West a few falls ago. Each time I’ve seen her since, including at the early August Prep Dig Sizzle, she’s raised her game. That certainly was the case again during the Iowa City High tournament in early September. Miller can do it all, as evidenced by her ranking second among Bulldogs in kills (77) and digs (72) through the first 14 matches of the campaign. She jumps well and generates a lot of power when swinging her long right arm from the pin. Miller’s athleticism also shines through in the back row, where she’s quick laterally and a technically sound passer.
