Syverson established herself as a formidable attacker for the Ada-Borup-West Cougars while also demonstrating remarkable defensive abilities. In the 2023 season alone, she recorded 314 kills and 73 total blocks and her blocking was the number to beat in the Pine to Prairie conference. One of her more dominant performances came in a Section 8A semifinal victory, where she recorded a massive 29 kills, 4 blocks, and 15 digs. Syverson not only has a lot of height but she’s got the athleticism to go with it. She reminds me of a young Kennedy Martin (Florida) as I see film of her getting time on the pins. This Kandi kid has good footwork and an incredibly high contact point. Teams try to block her but they aren’t even close. As a middle she could be a lock down blocker but if she can master the off-blocker defense she could be an offensive threat when her team is in and out-of-system.
