Owens had the potential to turn into a solid hitter before the dust settles on her career. Owens angles balls off blocks for big hits and paints the back line on line shots. EAA 15 head coach Chancie Coleman said Owens is productive from all six spots on the court and constantly fights for points. Coleman added Owens has great decision-making for her age. Owens had 126 kills, 158 digs and 58 aces to help Ballard Memorial go 24-9, make it to the 1st Region Tournament for the first time since 2021 and make it to the championship flight of the All “A” State Tournament.
