Matheny, ranked nationally at #34, recently surpassed 500 total assists for 2025 as Bishop Hartley (14-9 overall) took care of business in the first round of district play to set up their next contest with a good Bexley team. She now has over 1,700 career assists. Her high school and club career has featured her capability to run a dynamic offense and flat out win as her experience driving her Mintonette team the past couple of club cycles led to a slew of top finishes at major tournaments across the country. She is committed to an Indiana program that is playing some great volleyball and is among the top teams in the BigTen currently.

Matheny was all over the stat book for Bishop Hartley this past high school season. She led them in assists with 459, was second defensively with 167 total digs and 45 blocks, while also finishing second in total aces at 54. The anticipation for her return to her club team is big as the Indiana commit has led one of the nation’s best offenses in their respective age group for several seasons with the core group of attackers and ball control they feature that includes two other Mintonette prospects in this top five.

Earlier this season Matheny surpassed the 1,000 career assists mark competing for Bishop Hartley. She has been the backbone for a core group for Mintonette for multiple seasons where she has multiple seasons directing a dynamic, efficient, and powerful offense, which contrasts the offensive tools and level around her competing for the Hawks. She still makes a huge impact with 7.4 a/s as a setter but also defensively at nearly six digs and 2.2 blocks per match. With 180 career service aces, this is also an area this Indiana commit shines for Bishop Hartley.
