About Mallory

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m fierce on the floor, my communication is one of my best attributes. I’m told I’m very coachable, a utility player that learns very quickly. Adaptable to any position change.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Highly competitive and extremely motivated. I enjoy learning the details of reading the players body language to be a better defender.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Alter server at Holy Name Catholic school for 4 years. Winner of school Christian Attitude Award 2x. Giant Buddy, student mentor. I Can Bike volunteer.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My in game communication skills ensure my teammates know where the setter is positioned, their go-to hitter, crucial defensive plays and teammate encouragement on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I came from a club that competed in small club level tournaments for three years, where i gained skill and fundamentals. For those three years i played as a six rotation outside. When I came to Circle City I switched to playing D/S, I had change my mindset and way of thinking about the game. I am proud to say I’m currently playing DS/L on the 14-1’s team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to find a school where I will thrive academically, athletically and socially.
