About Margot

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a vocal leader on the court, I thrive on supporting my teammates and maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere throughout every match. My gameplay is not just about skill, it's about creating a fun environment where everyone feels motivated to perform at their best. I consistently try to elevate my game and those around me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I approach the game with confidence and a fearless attitude and am always ready to take on any challenges that come my way. My aggressive style of play reflects my intense desire to win and I bring that competitive spirit to every match. My determination and strong work ethic not only drive my performance but also inspire my teammates to elevate their game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

• National Junior Honor Society • Fluent in Spanish • Young Life Catholic Group

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a libero, being a leader on the court is crucial to the success of my team. My role goes beyond defensive skills; it involves communicating with my teammates, dominating the back row, and providing encouragement during high-pressure moments. By leading through example, I strive to create an environment where collaboration and trust thrive, allowing us to work together and accomplish our goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Transitioning from gymnastics where I competed at a very high level, Junior Olympic level 8, to a new team sport in middle school brought a unique set of challenges. Adapting to the dynamics of working with teammates required me to trust others and embrace a shared goal, which was a significant shift from the independence I was used to.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers a high academic standard and a supportive environment where I can thrive both academically and athletically. Ultimately, I am looking for a college that not only prepares me for my future career but also supports my journey as a well- rounded individual, allowing me to develop my skills, build lasting relationships, and contribute positively to the community.
