Ball has improved her setting out of the libero spot, she was delivering sets against the grain from her platform during Nationals in Vegas. Her Shockwave 17 team competed in the 17 Freedom Division, and in a match against ASEVC 17 Premiere, Ball was locked in and dishing dimes to her setter. The Kennewick libero covered her hitters and directed traffic defensively, taking control and playing with passion as Shockwave notched a 25-15, 25-22 two-set victory.

Ball was one of the top liberos in the Mid-Columbia Conference, and is big a part of a young, up-and-coming Kennewick program. She moves in tight covering her hitters, then stays in constant motion making sure she is in position defensively. Ball is a pinpoint server, locating the seams and weak points in the opposing back row.
