Stroud and her Texas One – 16 Royal team are entered in the event’s 16s Division. A six-footer, she offers a lot for them on the right, doubling up as a setter and a hitter. Stroud can be very creative and unpredictable when in system, using the middles more often than most setters, but also stands out for her ability to track passes off the net and deliver accurate sets at the pins. She offers her team a strong blocking presence at the net, shutting opponents down with her impeccable timing and the aggressive placement of her arms above the net. The setter is also a very good defender, who not only has superior ball control, but also thrives at making moves to get to the ball in her zone.
