About McKenna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is more of the strategy of the game instead of the power. I really like to use my IQ of the game and what I know to help my play my best and help my teammates. I also like to play a very intense but calm game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My game mentality is more of having confidence and positive self talk because I have experienced games and even seasons where that wasn’t a big part of me and it showed. Another one is definitely goal setting because that helps me be the best player I can be and the best teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of student council, maybe other clubs in the future. I have gotten highest honor roll in middle school and so far throughout my freshman year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned more leadership shills from honor society in middle school which has really helped me as a person and player. I have done community service for honor society and student council.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 8th grade I faced having a coach that really impacted my mental health and it really impacted my game and me as a person. She would share information to me and my team about things we didn’t need to hear and she would tell my other teammates not so nice things that impacted them too. Since that I have made a goal to just play my game and stay as positive as possible and work as hard as I can.

What type of college are you looking for?

I honestly don’t know I want one that is good for my education and for my sport. I want one that has many benefits!
