About Megan

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A mentality I have adopted is that I will control what I can control, and adapt to what I can not control. This mentality has helped me grow as a player by teaching myself that I can not control what any other person on my team does, I can only control what I can do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the challenges I have faced is finding a balance between training for club volleyball and maintaining my time management skills for studying, which can be difficult when I am enrolled in multiple honors and AP classes.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college in a relatively big city, as well as a college that is academically strong and with a good program for the program I decide to pursue.

The 6’1″ Dallas setter does an excellent job of utilizing her middles, consistently connecting with them to keep the offense balanced and effective. She switches up her sets often, making her distribution difficult to predict and keeping blockers off rhythm. Her ability to establish the middle early opens up opportunities for her pins and keeps defenses guessing. On top of her offensive command, she brings a strong arm from the service line, where she generates pace and pressure that leads to many aces.
