As one of the top two volleyball players in Galena’s history, Melanie has left a lasting impact on the program.
The 5’7″ outside hitter was a four-year starter and helped guide Galena to its only Final Four appearance two seasons ago. She wrapped up this season with 494 kills and 404 digs.

A starter from day 1 at Galena, Melanie is a tough player in Class 1 and has racked up over 1084 career kills with 632 of those coming last year to place her 4th in kills for all of Missouri. Another player who doesn’t come off the court and is lethal anywhere she is set. At 5’7”, she is massive and can overpower her opponents. Should be in the hunt for Class 1 POY this coming season.
