On defense, she is just as active. Coleman closes space well and works to seal off openings along the net. That can make life difficult for opposing hitters looking for a clean lane.

She also brings plenty of motor. Point after point, Coleman stays engaged and keeps working. That effort shows up on both sides of the net.

Michaela Coleman brings great purpose to every movement she makes at the net. She transitions quickly, stays balanced through her footwork, and arrives ready to attack. Furthermore, she closes blocks well and does a nice job taking away space defensively. Coleman plays with a high motor, and her ability to impact both sides of the ball makes her an exciting middle to watch.

Michaela Coleman Michaela Coleman 6'0" | MB CO brings physicality and efficiency to the middle. Her lateral footwork is disciplined, allowing her to close seams early and arrive square in the block. She runs first-tempo routes in rhythm and finishes above the tape with intent.
