About Mikaela

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is focused and in the game. I’m usually always concentrated and find ways to score point when on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to always give my best and to show how I play. I play to get better every day and to learn from my mistakes to get better. My personality is funny but when I get to volleyball it can be funny and concentrated when it comes to a big game and tournament.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved with Student council in school and also do track & field as my 2nd important sport!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In student council I have learned that there is always a community in need of help of any way we can be helpful to them. I have also learned how to look around to others for help and to not be scared to ask peers, teammates, and even trusted adults anything.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have struggled with confidence and I always do my best to get better and to let my confidence show in me when I play with my teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

a college that feels like a family and I can see myself being there happy and excited to play with the girls that are on the team!
