About Morgan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am determined and open minded with a next play mentality. I appreciate every point and I have great sportsmanship. I strive to be empowering on and off the court and benefit my team in any way I can. I play with purpose and intention with every play that I make, all while being the most dedicated teammate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am respectful and dedicated. Again, I maintain the next play mindset even after a few mistakes. I love being social on and off the court, making new friends and being with the people I love! Providing a positive environment on and off the court is my #1 priority, in hopes that it'd resonate with others.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I assist a non-profit called the Hospice Giving Foundation, a business where they organize the donations for hospice care, and I've learned good characteristics while doing this. I am kind and immediate to help in any way I can.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Overtime, I've learned to develop leadership through the sport of volleyball to take that away and use it in my everyday life. Building a community through volunteer services and meeting new people has made me learn a lot more about teamwork, so I can use it on the court too.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Throughout my life, I've had to deal with the subject of an absent father, but that didn't stop me from fulfilling my dreams. I've learned to become independent as a young women and learn to do majority of my everyday things all by myself. Becoming independent overtime has expressed my dedication towards volleyball, being self taught in the beginning of my career, and problem solving myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that'll both help be athletically and academically, as well as open new doors for me in the east coast. I want to major in Architecture or Engineering so finding a school that'll both benefit me in the classroom as well as the court will be a perfect fit for me.

Morgan was one of the most versatile athletes on the court. She attacked with purpose, played aggressively in transition, and found ways to make every set work. Her ability to adapt to new positions and systems helped her stay impactful in each rotation. Morgan’s competitive style and strong touch on the ball supported her team through key rallies and kept them in control during fast offensive phases.
