About Murphy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Energetic and encouraging teammate that is hardworking, determined, and never gives up on a play. I make smart decisions in tough situations and will do whatever my team needs to get the point.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very encouraging and channel all of my energy into celebrating my teammates. I am quick to forget mistakes and get highly focused when it is time to play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

-merit service award through interview service - play highschool basketball

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

- I love to be involved in my community and gained a device award for this. - voted team captain by my peers and coach which has allowed me to take my leadership skills to the next level.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was 12 years old I got moved down to a lower teamThis inspired me to work harder than ever. My athleticism was part of the reason I got moved down, so I went to agility training 2 times a week to increase my vertical and speed which has allowed me to flourish in a 5-1 environment. I spent countless hours working on my setting game which allowed me to work back to where I am today.

What type of college are you looking for?

I haven’t narrowed down much yet, but My goal is to play at the highest level I am capable of playing at.
