About Myla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as dynamic, disciplined, and strategic. As a 5'8" setter and 6-rotation player, I prioritize quick decision-making, precise ball placement, and strong court awareness. My experience as an outside hitter enhances my versatility, allowing me to be an offensive threat when needed. I bring a competitive mindset, relentless work ethic, and strong leadership presence.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I lead by example in both practices and games, maintaining a positive and focused mindset on and off the court. I set high standards for myself, constantly striving to grow as both a student and athlete, with the goal of earning athletic awards and academic honors. I give 100% effort in everything I do, always seeking opportunities to learn, improve, and elevate my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Club Volleyball, National BETA Club and HOSA - Future Health Professionals.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and holding myself to high standards. Additionally, balancing academics and athletics has taught me discipline, time management, and perseverance.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics and a competitive volleyball program that focuses on developing players to reach their full potential. I want to be part of a team with a great culture, where hard work, growth, and success are prioritized both on and off the court.
