About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

How I would briefly describe my gameplay style is that I love a team that can work together and be in tune with each other on and off the court. I enjoy winning, of course, but I think that the team is much more. I like to move at a quick pace, not to where it is so quick where people are clueless to what is going on, but people who are ready for the next point and ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A brief description of my personality is that I am very friendly and kind. I try to always have a smile on my face and make people feel safe to talk to me or be around me. I believe that my mentality is good. I just have to shake off whatever mistakes I made and move on to the next point.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received many awards for school in most of the classes that I was in. Most of them were excellence awards of how I did in those classes. I also received an academic letter my sophomore year due to my grade point average.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Some skills that I have developed is being team caption for my club team and trying to better my team. Almost all of my teammates supported me and wanted me to be one. I have helped wash dogs in my community and dryed them for the customers.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The most significant challenge that I believe that I have faced is not making my varsity high school team. At first, it felt like I was stuck and didn’t know what to do but I faced it and picked myself back up. I didn’t let it defeat me forever.

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of college that I am looking for is somewhere that I can succeed beyond high school in both academic and athletics. I prefer it not to be too huge, but I also do still want it to be where I can enjoy the bigness that college still has to offer. I prefer colleges in Michigan.
