Olivia is a setter who has the ability to play all 6 rotations when called upon. She has the type of game to be a hitter, setter, defender, or I am sure even a libero if needed. As a setter she is already great with her footwork and ability to get the ball from pin to pin. As a younger setter she doesn’t need much help in the technique department as she already can make tough sets, and consistently deliver hittable balls from all places on the floor. A big plus I saw was how well she plays/hustles in defense. She always seemed to be giving maximum effort and was getting a ton of touches on balls just to keep plays alive while in defense. She also is able to chip in on offense as well, not only with her setter dumps but also as a hitter. When she was front row it seemed that the ball would always end up going to her, especially in tight situations which really shows how good of a player she is to get the ball in that moment. Her team played excellent throughout the weekend and she was a big reason why which is why she is a standout from Summer NIT.
