About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very fast tempo kind of setters. I am also very competitive, my drive is always there, and I am very mentally tough.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality when I’m in the game is that I am always locked in to the game. Nothing distracts me or bothers me when it is game time. Outside of the court I would describe myself as a compassionate, and very loving individual.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At my High School I am in the Athletic Training program and I work Football and girls Soccer. I have received an award for going to state with them my sophomore year, and I have received an award for being trainer of the year. In school I got recognized in for being a very hard worker with an award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am definitely a team player, Volleyball is a team sport and you need everyone of your teammates to get the job done. Even tho I am a good team player and am an even better leader. I have played club for 5 years and have been a captain all 5. I am good a stepping up when it needs to be done and helping lead my team to victory. I have also done a lot of community service at the food kitchen.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many challenges but the most significant one is that I couldn’t make a national team at my club for the longest time. Other things were at play, but I didn’t want to leave the club. I finally realized if I want to get noticed my more people there have to be changes and that the man above always has other plans for you.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to any type of college as long as they have my major which is kinesiology or Sports Medicine.
