About Paige

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Calm, confident, competitive, encouraging.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a chill girl who loves volleyball. I push for excellence in my schoolwork and on the court. I love being a leader and encouraging my teammates. Outside of school and volleyball I love to hang out with family and church friends, and go on ice cream and snow cone runs.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in elementary band, NJHS/NHS and have won awards for honor roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball has taught me leadership skills by being captain for 4 of my 5 club seasons and encouraging my teammates in a positive and calm way. It has taught me teamwork by playing with others with different skills and personalities, all striving for a common goal. School has taught me similarly in a program called LIT (leaders in training), also encouraging participation in a service projects.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have lost a grandparent while at a volleyball tournament and that season definitely had some sadness to deal with. My school is very challenging academically and it takes quite a bit of focus to keep up with my school work especially with a busy travel tournament schedule.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am just starting to think about colleges and it’s important to me that it have majors I am interested in, good student support/success, and fun campus life. I would love to be near a beach or sand courts for fun too.
