Expert Analysis
Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
Roberts has good versatility in her ability to be offensive in multiple positions. As a middle for her Canfield team in the fall, she was a key factor through moderate tempo options. For her Infinity club team, she is seeing ample time and opportunities on the left side pin where she is demonstrating that she can use her length well to strike the ball for similar point scoring outcomes. Her timing in the middle more frequently maximizes her elevation and touch point and if she can create the same form at the pin to contact at the peak of her jump, she’ll create greater advantages for herself at the pin. Infinity 16 Green will start MEQ in Pool 1.

Canfield is 14-1 overall as Roberts is a key part of their primary offensive duo. The 6’0 middle is athletic with good all-around skills to contribute in a variety of ways. As an attacker, she gets off the floor well and when at the top of her jump she can get on top of the ball well and control it through space. She is second on the team at 3.7 k/s on an impressive .450 efficiency. Defensively, she adds 10.1 digs and 2.4 blocks per match.

Roberts has a nice offensive skill set as a middle. Competing for Infinity this past club season, she provided good range in her offense to be able to swing and score through the edges of the court. At 6’0, she tracks the ball well and gives herself good space to develop that arm control. A reserve for Canfield’s varsity team last season, look for her to increase her opportunities this fall.
