Ortega and her AJV 17 Adidas team will get on the court in the 17 Open division. A new face with the team this season, coming from Texas Fury, she immediately became one of the main scoring options. Ortega’s offensive game is complete and efficient as she has tremendous power and reach in her swings, but she is also technical and smart enough to score with finesse. She has strong technical foundations in her game too and can remain on the court on the back row, helping with her passing and defense.
