Owens played more of a defensive role for the Colonels this past fall, but could move into the main setter role this fall with the main one graduating in the spring. Owens is consistent in the back court making sound two to three-point passes to get Christian County into a good offensive rhythm. Owens also paints back lines on her sound jump serves. Owens had 281 digs, 100 assists and 64 aces to help Christian County win the 8th District championship and drive to the 2nd Region semifinals.
