Please officially welcome Miss Zeidler to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 43rd best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Los Gatos High School and for the Vision volleyball club program. Portia recently committed to playing college volleyball at the University of Notre Dame. You can’t teach height and she has tons of it. She has all of the tools that you want in a top middle prospect. The height, foot speed, power, and drive to be the best. What stands out about her play is how strong her attack is with the fifty-one sets in front of the setter. The amount of power that she puts into the ball can be attributed to the way she crunches her abs and throws her shoulders forward at the point of contact. She hardly ever gets blocked because of how she is able to stay open or turn in mid-air to hit the ball with power around the block toward the corners. Her play is elite and there is no doubt that she will be a force at the next level in a few years. Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of being listed amongst the great players of this state.
