How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as competitive, aggressive, and focused while embracing the teamwork required to be successful.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality is very focused and driven. I enjoy hard work and stay eager to learn ways to improve myself both on the court and in my personal life. I like to have fun and enjoy being around others. I describe myself as being friendly and kind to others.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Outside of playing Pursuit Volleyball; I am in Beta Club & Pep Club. I am looking forward to expanding my involvement by joining FCCLA and FBLA when school resumes in the fall. I also intend to seek office on the student council this year.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through helping with my local vacation bible school, I have learned the importance of patience when working with others. Playing team sports has taught me how important working as a team is as we win, learn, and lose together. I have assisted in helping coach younger kids and observed how they looked up to me as a player and know how important it is to be a good role model for others in all aspect
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Having been born with significant hearing loss, speech impediment, and celiac disease I have learned to overcome obstacles thrown at me. Having to stay dedicated to a totally gluten free diet has taught me that the small, daily work has long term success as I work hard to maintain low gluten numbers.
What type of college are you looking for?
My dream is to play for a D-1 college. While I still have time to consider and explore careers, at this time I would like to attend a college with a strong business program.
