About Quinn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team player who loves to compete. I swing from both sides and give maximum effort for every ball. My work ethic, athleticism, and court awareness positions me as a versatile teammate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Volleyball is important to me and has taught me how to persevere through adversity. I love the game, to lead, and be a good teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

-Varsity and JV Volleyball -Varsity and JV Softball -EVA 14- National 4.0 GPA WKU TIP-KY program Educators Rising AP and Honors classes Freshman Class President (Student Government Association)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am continuing to develop leadership skills throughout my athletic journey. I have learned to be a selfless teammate who is always there for others. I am grateful for what God has given me and not to mention the friends I have made along the way.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being a multi-sport athlete (softball) while focusing on my academics has taught me the importance of balancing priorities. I am not gifted with size but I have overcome that barrier with heart and a dedication to the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can contribute to the team, and learn valuable skills that will help me throughout life. No one will outwork me and I will help the culture of your team.

If there was one player who stood out to me the most over the entire showcase, it was Martin. She was hands down the young lady that I would want to coach and/or play with, as well as the one who my fellow scouts and I couldn’t stop watching and talking about. Quinn is a lefty attacker who can swing from either side of the court and has a complete toolbox of shots. She doesn’t make many errors and knows where to put the ball in order to score in a variety of situations. Martin is a jumper and plays much taller than her height – she is clearly not intimidated by anyone on the other side of the net, and I love that about her! She worked hard all showcase and never stopped, even when her bib number was falling off and flying in her face, this girl kept on going. Well done Quinn – we will certainly be watching you this high school and club season!
