About Rachael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with relentless effort and intensity. I go after every ball no matter how impossible it may seem and compete hard from the first point to the last. I never give up on a play and always give my best effort for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m supportive, positive, and very outgoing. I get along well with others and enjoy building strong relationships with my teammates. While I can be shy at times, once I step onto the court and touch a volleyball, I become energetic, vocal, and confident. The game brings out my leadership and passion.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of All In Volleyball Club in Las Vegas. While I haven’t received awards yet, I am committed to improving every day and I’m confident that my hard work and dedication will lead to future achievements.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball, I’ve developed strong teamwork and communication skills. I’ve learned how to lead by example through effort and attitude, support my teammates in high-pressure moments, and stay disciplined even when things get challenging. The sport has also strengthened my resilience and mental toughness.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is doubting my progress at times and feeling like I’m not improving as quickly as I’d like. However, those moments have helped me grow mentally. I’ve learned to trust the process, stay patient, and believe in my abilities. In the end, I always remind myself why I started and regain confidence in my work and potential.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m open to any state and looking for a college that offers: A competitive volleyball program Strong academic support A positive team culture Coaches who push athletes to improve Opportunities to grow both as a player and as a person
