Academy Volleyball Cleveland (AVC) 15 Red earned an at-large bid to the 15 Open division of the GJNC as allocated from the Show Me NQ. They have a core group of athletes that bring big offense and can defend well at the net and out of the back row. Jankowski’s stock continues to rise this club season as she is climbing in these 2029 Ohio rankings as a reliable six-rotation option. Recent views have highlighted her arm at the net and out of the back row as she can be effectively terminal when on time and tempo as part of their system that includes hitters in a variety of locations. She had a monster freshman campaign in 2025 for Hoover as the Vikings finished 18-6 overall. Her 459 total kills tied her for the team lead of 4.8 k/s as she led in efficiency at .283 to go along with 233 tot digs. The impact she continues to make this club season is preparing her for what should be another big effort in the fall with perhaps an even bigger offensive load to shoulder as the Vikings lost her counterpart that was their other top scorer to graduation.

Jankowski remains among the top prospects in this Ohio class through this rankings cycle. She uses her length well while having good control of her attacking skills in system and when needing to adjust to a slower ball needing more patience. Through the high school cycle and the first half of the club season, she is a reliable arm to score on the end of good tempo as well as take care of opportunities strategically when she is the only option available. She is a high impact attacker with a high ceiling to keep developing her tools and efficiency for the next level.

Jankowski had some big offensive moments as a primary option on the left side, especially when in system. In a good pass or dig situation, their tempo is quick with multiple options in motion. With a little space in the block in front of her, she can find that room and swing for good results. AVC 15 Red had a respectable tournament finishing 21st overall and highest placing Ohio team in the 15 Elite bracket.

Her tools are complete as she can contribute in a variety of ways that included nearly 10 digs per match and 57 total aces. She returns as a key threat for AVC’s top 15U team that recently won the Nike Classic in the 15 Open division on a 8-2 record.

Freshman outside hitter Rachel Jankowski has been outstanding for Hoover this season, leading the Federal League in kills while helping the Vikings reach the Division II regional semifinals. At just 5’11”, she already plays with the poise and presence of an upperclassman, producing 435 kills (4.8 per set) on a strong .281 hitting efficiency.

Jankowski is a true six-rotation prospect with clean offensive mechanics and the confidence to swing from anywhere across the net. She generates power and control through her full range of motion, attacking with precision from both pins and out of system. In addition to her offensive firepower, she’s steady in serve receive and contributes nearly 10 digs per match, showing her all-around value.

One of the top freshmen in Ohio, Jankowski has quickly established herself as a high-volume, high-efficiency attacker.

Just a freshman, Jankowski was big time in her offensive effort for Hoover on Monday. With a match high 26 kills, she terminated 6.5 k/s on an impressive .382 efficiency. This matched her season and career best output as she shares the lead in the Vikings’ offense overall at 4.7 k/s along with senior Audrey Ellis Audrey Ellis 6'0" | OH OH . Jankowski is having one of the most impressive offensive performances for the season among Ohio freshman as she has terminated in double digits in every match, including reaching 20 or more kills 10 times. Just shy of 400 total kills on the season, Jankowski has solidified herself as a high ceiling prospect from this Ohio freshman class. At 5’11, she averages 4.6 k/s as this Hoover team uses her in a variety of ways across the front row as she can control the tempo and movement of the ball well upon contact in the air. With 250 total kills on the season, Jankowski has earned 137 of those in the month of September alone with another week to go. The last four matches have been her best stretch as she average 4.8 k/s. This included a career high 26 kills in a 3-2 win over McKinley in which she swung on a .333 efficiency. The 5’11 pin is finding a groove as the season moves along as she is finding more ways to capitalize on her length and lift off the court.

Jankowski can bring good power upon contact at the net. The left side hitter uses a dynamic approach to drive her arms up with a high elbow to help increase her touch point opportunities. She can pass and hit well as a front row attacker and shows good vision and awareness of defenders and space which allows her to display the good arm control and range she is developing at the peak of her jump.
