About Rainessa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game play style as wholeheartedly and passionate. No matter what the outcome is of my game I know that no matter what I played with my whole heart and left it all out on the court. I believe that always being the youngest girls on most teams that I have played on has caused me to have a more mature type of game style.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A brief description of my mentality and personality would be bold, selfless, and caring. I am a very passionate player who plays with a whole lot of heart and drive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not involved in any other clubs or organizations that are non-sport related. I am involved in many other sports activities which helps my indoor volleyball game immensely. I play basketball, both school ball and AAU, I also play AAU volleyball for my schools team and for my travel team. This year I started to play beach volleyball as well, for RSC, (Redding Sand Club).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed many leadership skills while playing my sports and am often put into the captains position.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge that I have faced was losing my mom at the age of 6. This was a very hard loss for me, considering how young I was. Due to this every time I step on that court, I play for her.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will fit my career as an Ultrasound Tech, I have already began this journey while being in STROP. I am also looking for a college that values me as a student-athlete and my love for God. I would love to play at the next level and get recognized.
