Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
The 6’0 Gray has had some really good moments with her CVC team this club season as she continues to hone her tools towards her final season with powerhouse Magnificat in the fall. She can contribute well on both sides of the ball as the uncommitted primary outside hitter has an opportunity to contribute in the absence of their top scorer from 2025 due to graduation. When on time in the air she can score with some good authority in the force she can apply and the range she can control her arm through.

Gray’s annual cycle of both high school and club ball is one that challenges her in both her training and competitive experience. The 6’0 primary outside hitter gets a lot of opportunities to swing, helping boost her visibility and impact for her teams. As an attacker, she continues to demonstrate her ability to control her arm to swing aggressively through space or to challenge the edges of the defense well. CVC 17 Black is competing in the 17 Open division as begins competition as the #34 seed overall.

Gray (*pictured) is another key arm coming back to this core group after seeing a lot of opportunities offensively last club cycle. At 6’0, she can swing with good purpose from the left pin. Her action in the air gets her shoulders open to the ball well where she can create some good speed to contact. Her power and arm control are a big part of her attacking effort.

Gray (*pictured) is poised to return to the fall high school season as a point scoring pin that can fill in some offensive gaps for Magnificat. Her size at 6’0 is a big part of her presence and effort that also includes an aggressive arm at the net through varied attack points for her CVC team. Whether in system or not, she does a good job of making the right adjustments in her timing to maintain her offensive physicality.

Gray maximizes her length when attacking by creating a long approach runway that helps her build good momentum into her lift. At 6’0, she has the ability to drive the ball well and challenge the defense with her aggressive arm. As a right side attacker for Magnificat this past fall high school season, she was a reliable presence on that side of the floor with high contact and pace. Gray will be a key factor for a CVC 16 Black team with a solid corps of athletes.
