Of course, we have to start with a state champion and one of the most prolific scorers we’ve seen in a while. Meyers was last fall’s “kill champion” in Nebraska by an enormous margin. The Superior sophomore put down over 800 kills (7.6 per set) as the Wildcats returned to the state tournament mountaintop. We’ve seen Meyers dominate as a pin hitter or a middle blocker, depending on where her physicality and quick arm are needed most. We’re eager to see this show-stopping talent back on the court soon.

Here’s our chance to check in on a state champion. Meyers’ stock was already soaring before the 2025 club campaign began, as she helped Superior High School complete a dramatic march to the state championship. She is now embarking on a new club journey with Nebraska ONE 16 Synergy and is a multi-faceted force with her new team. Meyers first landed on our radar as a hard-hitting middle blocker, but we now know she can carry so many other roles. 16 Synergy allows Meyers to swing away on the pin in first-ball situations, and she has even earned some passing reps in early-season action. All of these skills developed further at NIT.

Here’s one for the 2027s. Meyers knows all about the GJNC spotlight after her all-tournament honors and podium placement with South Central NE last year. The small-town squad is back for more, and Meyers is still dominating. She gives 16 Black a multi-faceted scoring threat, whether it’s from the middle or the right pin. She’ll even take occasional first-ball swings on the left. Meyers has demonstrated a complete game by dishing out some tough serves in Las Vegas and anchoring Zone 6 when she’s in the back row. The grind continues for South Central NE and its diverse collection of stars.

We’re starting up in the 16s age group with a tall talent that has to be on this list. Meyers has already racked up a hefty list of accomplishments while playing up a year with South Central NE 16 Black. She earned a spot on last year’s GJNC all-tournament team while South Central climbed to the 15 Liberty podium. Meyers’ dominance has continued in 2024, and she does a lot more than you’d expect from most middle blockers. 16 Black allows her to swing on either pin for clutch sideouts–a strategy that usually leads to instant success. Look for this extraordinary athlete to make another title push at this year’s Nationals.
