Yockey has good court sense and awareness as a middle that helps her make an equal impact on both sides of the ball. She is a quick twitch type of athlete in her ability to get up fast and over the net when defending. Offensively, she can be a high efficiency attacker as she develops good space to be able to swing with pace while moving the ball around towards space and edges of the block.
