About Reese

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as a role of a leader and hardworking.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is strong and there is not anyone that my team and I don’t have the potential not to beat. I am a naturally more quiet person off the court but on the court it is different.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in National Honors Society for my high school, Har-Ber. I have received a nomination called Warrior Award, that is for students that exemplify respect to teachers, leadership, community involvement skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership on and off the court, leading under and upper class men in choices off and on the court. I have also gained development in teamwork with my teammates by working together as a team and being a unit. I have also developed a skill of community service by working with little kids every Sunday.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced mental blocks in volleyball. Mental blocks can take a very serious toll on you and can even lead to burn out. I was lucky enough to have a good community of volleyball coaches and teammates to help me through my mental block.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for any level of college with good academic credentials and a good culture.
