About Reese
What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?
My biggest strength is my consistency and defensive mindset. As a libero, I take pride in being reliable in serve receive and defense, staying calm under pressure, and making plays that keep rallies alive. During games, I communicate with my teammates, read hitters, and work hard to put our team in the best position to score. I always give maximum effort.
What are you working to improve right now?
I’m always working to become a more complete libero by improving my passing consistency, communication, and leadership. I know there’s always room to grow, and I’m committed to getting better every day.
What are you looking for in a college program?
I’m looking for a college program that feels like a family, where the coaches invest in me as both a player and a person. I want an environment that challenges me to grow, values hard work and accountability, and has teammates who push each other to be better. I’m also looking for a school where I can receive a great education while competing at a high level.
Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?
My faith, family, and relationships are very important to me. I want to be known as someone who encourages others, works hard, and treats people with kindness and respect. Those values shape the way I approach volleyball and everyday life.
What do you want to study, and what career interests you?
Outside of volleyball, I’m passionate about becoming a pediatric occupational therapist. I love the idea of helping children build confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential. I want to pursue a career where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of kids and their families while continuing to grow as a compassionate leader and teammate.
